Kelsi Krakauer is a medical student at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from The University of Denver in 2017 with a B.S. in Biology and a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience. Her clinical and research interests include gender-affirming care, craniofacial surgery, hand and peripheral nerve reconstruction, global surgery, and improving disparities in access to care. Kelsi is excited to further contribute to the field of plastic surgery as a member of the C.A.R.E team. Outside of the hospital, Kelsi enjoys skiing and is a former Junior Olympic athlete in ski racing, trail running, yoga, and exploring new cookbooks and cuisines.
